全球超过600家沃尔玛零售超市在昨日统一上架了一款运行有gOS的199美元”Green gPC”笔记本。这款所谓的gOS操作系统，采用修改版的Ubuntu Linux 内核，并充分迎合且内置了Google旗下的一系列产品，譬如，Google Docs, Gmail, Google Maps 以及众多的Web应用程序，如，Meebo, Facebook, Wikipedia, Skype等等。

    I downloaded an ISO image from verycd.com. However it does not work. So I am downloading gOS from one FTP mirror site. However I found gOS is not made by Google. But another orgnization, maybe their founder is a Google nerd. I heard gOS is a Live CD distribution, which means can run in CD-ROM. Anyway it is an interesting OS.

    Yes, It is based on Ubuntu7.10 , I want to know whether it support 3D desktop ?
